Well, I’m off to a bad blogging start as I haven’t been on here in several days! I am like that with things like this which is why I have never had a successful blog...lol

Brianna started school yesterday and she LOVED it!!! She was only there for 1/2 day but she was more than ready to go back for a full day today!!! I am so happy for her!!! The boys are still doing very well at school! No complaints from either of them! I do however think I am going to have to break down and go buy some school clothes for all three of them! :-( What a bummer!

I have finally done it; I sat down and figured out a budget for our family!! I am super excited and very nervous all at the same time!! It’s going to take some discipline that we have never really practiced before! So we shall see!!! It was actually quite difficult to do since I get paid twice a month and he gets paid biweekly so sometimes we get paid every other week on the same week and others we have money coming in weekly! Yes, confusing but that’s how it works! Now we can start getting things paid off and saving for a family VACATION!!!!!! That is one thing we definitely need!!!

One of my best friends gave me a TON of zucchini and I have started shredding it and I am maybe a 1/4 of the way into it and I have 6 quart sized bags with 4 cups of shredded zucchini in each bag!! Thank goodness she let me borrow her food processor or I would still be shredding that batch!!

Over all, we had a wonderful Labor Day weekend! Matt was fortunate enough to have the whole weekend off with us plus 2 extra days!! It was nice to be able to have some family time! We had Matt’s cousin Tara and her husband Scott and their boys, Ethan 3 and Oliver 3 months? over Friday night and I made chicken n noodles and mashed potatoes for dinner! It was delicious!!!! We processed 6 more chickens Friday night! So we’ve done 23 of our 50! Almost half way there!!! We had a couple of people from Matts work buy some chickens off us and we sold them for $3/lb and they were 4.5 lb chickens so we made 67.5 off three chickens!!!!!!! I didn’t really want to sell any but hey that kind of money makes them worth it!!!!

Josh was over Saturday and Sunday and helped Matt pick up some free wood and when they were splitting the wood he got too close to the close line and ended up getting hit on the face with the axe so a ER visit and 8 stitches later he looks a heck of a lot better than I thought he would!!!!! Monday we all got in the car and headed over to moms and had a nice day visiting them!

Well that’s about it for now! Hopefully it won’t be so long until my next entry!
